Golden Endings: Golden Retriever Rescue (GEGRR) is dedicated to the welfare of homeless Golden Retrievers who have entered the rescue program for a variety of reasons. They come from dog shelters, veterinarians, animal control officers or were found roaming the streets. Owners who are unable to keep their pets often contact us for assistance. Spring Picnic 2024 Info.
SPRING PICNIC MAY 25, 2024 THE ANNUAL SPRING PICNIC IS SATURDAY MAY 25 FROM 12P-3P AT JOHN BELTZ RETREAT CENTER. HOT DOGS AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED. PLEASE BRING A DISH TO SHARE. LAST NAMES BEGINNING WITH A-K BRING A DESSERT, L-R BRING A SIDE DISH AND S-Z BRING AN APPETIZER. YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO BRING A CHAIR TO SIT OUTSIDE. AS ALWAYS THE DOGS ARE ABLE TO RUN OFF LEASH. DON’T FORGET TO STAY AFTER WE EAT TO TAKE A GROUP PICTURE AND VISIT WITH FRIENDS. A LOT WILL OF EVENTS ARE HAPPENING THAT WEEKEND BUT WE HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US. How do I become a member of Golden Endings?
We welcome members worldwide.
Golden Endings is located in central Ohio. We are a
Nonprofit corporation operating under IRS code 501C3 and we
are fully tax exempt. Our membership fee is $20.00 per year.
We have included our
Membership Form that you may download/View/Print. Once
you complete the form please forward it by regular mail to:

When you become a member of Golden Endings, you will receive our newsletters and you will be invited to all GEGRR functions, as well as our board meetings. Featured Goldens as of 4/11/24
Keri will be six years old in October, she’s a petite
little girl that weighs around 65lbs. Keri is very sweet,
friendly golden who’s tail is always wagging. Keri likes
other dogs, we’re not sure about cats. Keri has been spayed,
treated for an ear infection, has all of her vaccines and
has a microchip. Please go to golden endings website to fill
out an adoption application and get either Kay or Judy’s
contact info.
Autumn will be 3yrs old in May, she’s 58lbs. Autumn loves
being with other dogs, being young she loves to play when
she’s with another dog. Autumn sometimes takes a minute or
two to approach new people. Autumn was diagnosed with Lyme
disease and was treated, after her treatment she was spayed,
treated for an ear infection and has all vaccines.
Letty will be 4 years old in November. Letty is another
one of our plump girls, she came in weighing 113 lbs, and
has lost more than 12 pounds! Letty has been treated for an
ear infection, intestinal parasites, she’s been spayed, has
all vaccines and a microchip. Letty is another one of those
sweet girls who does well with other dogs. When Letty sees
you her tail automatically starts wagging!
Fannie was 5 years old in March, she’s a beautiful red
girl that weighs around 78lbs. Fannie loves to be brushed
and is good with other dogs. Fannie sometimes is cautious
when approached by new people. Fannie is spayed, has been
treated for an ear infection, has all vaccines and a
microchip. If interested go to golden endings website and
fill out an adoption application, Kay and Judy’s contact
information is available there. All of these goldens that we
are featuring are wonderful, and are looking for homes to
call their own.
A Quick Word About Current Rescues
Why No Photos of Goldens Ready For Adoption...
We get this question asked a lot, "Where on the website can I see a photo of the Goldens you have up for adoption?" Well the answer is this...We don't have photos of the Goldens ready to be adopted on the website because they typically don't stay with us for too long. They come to GEGRR, get the medical care, etc that they may need, and at that point we are actively finding and pairing them up with their forever families, via the adoption applications that we receive. We want them to be with a forever family as soon as they are ready. So putting photos on the website, would be counterproductive, as the Goldens in our care are constantly changing. So please go to the Adoption Page, download and fill out the adoption application, send it in, and we will contact you. You can also call us and we'll answer any questions you might have regarding the adoption process.
